1. General

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website www.solguru.in and the solar EPC services provided by SOLGURU Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. ("SOLGURU", "Company"), a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 315-316 First Floor, Anchor Mall, Jaipur, Rajasthan - 302006.

By accessing this website or engaging our services, you ("Client", "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.

2. Scope of Services

SOLGURU provides end-to-end solar EPC services including:

• Site assessment and solar feasibility study
• System design and engineering
• Procurement of solar panels, inverters, and BoS (Balance of System) components
• Civil and structural work for mounting systems
• Electrical installation and wiring
• Testing, commissioning, and grid synchronization
• Net metering application and Discom liaison (JVVNL, AVVNL, JdVVNL)
• Subsidy application processing (PM Surya Ghar Yojana, state schemes)
• Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services

3. Quotation and Agreement

• All quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are subject to change based on market conditions, government policy changes, or variations in project scope.
• A formal agreement/work order shall be executed between SOLGURU and the Client before project commencement.
• The quotation includes system components, installation, and commissioning as specified. Any additional work, structural modifications, or upgrades shall be billed separately.

4. Payment Terms

• 30% Advance: At the time of booking / Purchase Order confirmation.
• 65% On Delivery: After delivery of Structure, Lightning Arrestor, Earthing items & DCDB / ACDB boxes at site.
• 5% On Handover: After Solar Installation, Net Metering completion, and Project Handover.

All payments shall be made via bank transfer, cheque, or UPI. GST at applicable rates will be charged as per Government of India norms. Delayed payments may attract interest at 1.5% per month.

5. Project Execution

• SOLGURU shall complete the installation within the agreed timeline, typically 15-30 working days from material delivery, subject to site readiness and weather conditions.
• Delays caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemic, material shortages) shall not be attributable to SOLGURU.
• The Client shall provide unobstructed site access, electricity, water supply, and secure storage for materials during installation.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Ensure the roof/site is structurally sound for solar installation. SOLGURU may recommend a structural assessment if needed.
• Obtain necessary permissions from building society, local authority, or landlord before installation.
• Provide accurate electricity bill details, K-Number, and property documents for Discom applications.
• Ensure timely payments as per the agreed schedule.
• Maintain clear roof area and ensure no shading obstruction post-installation.

7. Warranty

• Solar Modules: Warranted for 25 to 30 years for power output as per MNRE guidelines by the manufacturer.
• Solar ON Grid Inverter: Warranted for 8 to 10 years by the manufacturer.

The warranty shall not cover any and/or all failures caused due to the following:

• Damage or defect caused by accident, misuse, improper usage, or negligence on the part of the owner.
• Abuse or misuse of equipment/product.
• Damage or defect caused by Force Majeure including fire, earthquake, flood, cyclone, or other natural disasters except those covered under insurance.
• Damage or defect caused by alteration, modification, or conversion not authorized by the Contractor in writing.
• Parts and components which are repaired or replaced during the warranty period are warranted for the original warranty period only and will not carry any extended warranty.

8. Operation & Maintenance

SOLGURU provides Five (5) years Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance including:

• Overhauling and scheduled servicing of the solar system
• Wear and tear replacements during the O&M period
• Regular checking of healthiness of the system at proper intervals
• Consumer education on best practices for cleaning of modules and system maintenance

9. Net Metering & Subsidy

• SOLGURU shall handle complete documentation and liaison for net metering with the respective Discom (JVVNL, AVVNL, JdVVNL).
• Subsidy disbursement is subject to Government of India / State Government policies and timelines, which are beyond SOLGURU's control.
• SOLGURU shall assist in filing subsidy applications but does not guarantee subsidy approval or disbursement timelines.
• Any changes in government subsidy policies after project booking shall be communicated to the Client promptly.

10. Limitation of Liability

• SOLGURU's total liability shall not exceed the total contract value of the project.
• SOLGURU shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of revenue, business interruption, or data loss.
• Performance estimates (energy generation, savings) are indicative and based on standard irradiance data. Actual performance may vary based on weather, shading, and grid conditions.

11. Cancellation

• Cancellation before material procurement: Advance amount refunded minus 10% processing charges.
• Cancellation after material procurement: No refund on materials already procured (custom/project-specific items).
• Cancellation after installation begins: No refund applicable.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, designs, and software, is the property of SOLGURU Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. and is protected under Indian intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Parties agree to attempt amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings.

14. Amendments

SOLGURU reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
